476 South In Springfield Seeing Lane Closures This Week
Interstate 476 south in Springfield Township and neighboring Delaware County municipalities will see lane closures for tree work this week.
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – Southbound Interstate 476 in Springfield Township and nearby Delaware County municipalities will see lane closures this week for tree removal work, PennDOT said.
I-476 south will see a right lane closure daily this week, Monday, March 26 through Friday, March 30, between the U.S. 1 and Media/Swarthmore interchanges in Marple, Springfield and Nether Providence townships.
Closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to PennDOT.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during construction.
