By the middle to late afternoon, scattered thunderstorms are possible, with their frequency increasing into the early evening.

Throughout the evening, thunderstorms could linger in the area, certainly posing a threat to fireworks displays around Chester and Montgomery County.
The chance of rain in the evening, however, dips to just 40 percent. The temperature is expected to cool off significantly, coming to a low of 66 degrees.
Similar forecasts are in place for Friday, with scattered thunderstorms, a high of 81 and a low of 65. But by Sunday, clear blue skies are predicted, with no chance of rain and high of 88.
