Authorities have reportedly discovered an unidentified body while searching for a missing 11-year-old boy in Delaware County.

The body was found in the Prospect Park section of Montgomery Park in Folcroft Wednesday afternoon.

Local police, assisted by the FBI, were at the time had been looking for Laquan “Quan” Lattimore, who went missing in Folcroft Monday afternoon.

Officials have not said whether or not the body is that of Lattimore.

Lattimore lives with relatives in Folcroft and is a student at Sharon Hill Elementary School. He was last seen riding his bicycle in the area of King Avenue and Chester Pike.

FBI spokesman J. J. Klaver said Wednesday afternoon that the Delaware County Medical Examiners Office was in the process of trying to identify the body.

Until then, the investigation into Lattimore’s disappearance goes on.

“The investigation will continue until a positive ID on the body is found,” said Klaver.
