Budget Reform Group Hosting Vigil In Delaware County

Delaware County residents will tell first-hand stories about what is at stake as budget negotiations continue in Harrisburg.

A budget reform group is hosting a vigil and press conference in Delaware County Wednesday to encourage legislators to adopt a "fair and balanced budget."

Pennsylvania's Choice Campaign will hold a vigil and press conference at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at the Delaware County Courthouse in Media.

"Delaware County needs a budget that invests in our communities, and the only way to do it is for state legislators to stop ignoring reality," a press release from Pennsylvania's Choice reads.

At the vigil and press conference, Delaware County residents will tell first-hand stories about what is at stake as budget negotiations continue in Harrisburg.

Attendees will be calling upon their legislators to look across the aisle and across the state for the sake of our communities.
