Day, Night Lane Closures On Chester Road In Springfield Next Week

SPRINGFIELD, PA — A portion of Chester Road in Springfield Township will have daytime and nighttime lane restrictions next week due to various work, PennDOT said.

Chester Road/Route 320 will have lane restrictions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31.

The affected area is between Baltimore Pike and Providence Road/Route 252 in Springfield Township and Swarthmore Borough for milling, paving, and utility adjustments.

The work is part of an improvement project to repair and resurface 28 miles of state highway in Delaware County, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.
