Delco Getting New P.J. Whelihan's This December
Not only will the sports bar bring beer and food to the area, it will bring about 80 full- and part-time jobs.

Those looking for a a bite to eat and a beer in Delaware County will soon have a new eatery to visit, as a new P.J. Whelihan's is planing to open later this year. Additionally, the new eatery will provide 80 full-time and part-time jobs to the area.
The P.J.W. Restaurant Group announced one of its news P.J. Whelihans will be nestled in the Edgemont Shopping center at 4803 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square.
While the group did not provide an exact opening date, it did say the new spot will be open in time for the holidays and post-shopping meals in December.

Previously occupied by 3 West, the more than 7,000-square-foot space has been fully renovated and will feature 52 large televisions, a space for private gatherings, and a patio outdoor dining.
“We are really excited to become a part of the Newtown Square community,” Bob Platzer, President and CEO of the P.J.W. Restaurant Group, said “Our success has been a combination of close connections to the local community, consistently providing good food in a fun and lively environment and great team work.”

The Newtown Square P.J. Whelihan's will be the 16th location the group has opened.
Fans can expect their favorite eats to show up at the new location, as well.
