Delco Native, Police Officer Christopher Senkow Passes At 32

Christopher M. Senkow, 32, A resident of Boothwyn, formerly of Springfield passed away on June 9, 2018.

Chris was born in Philadelphia to Walter J. and Bonnie S. (Smith) Senkow. He was a graduate of Springfield High School where he was a member of the wrestling team and East Stroudsburg University where he was a member of the rugby team. Chris was a Police Officer with the Chester City Police Department where he was a member of the Search and Rescue Dive Team. He was SWAT Certified and a Combat Cross Award Winner. Chris previously worked for the Collingdale Police Department and was a member of the William Penn FOP Lodge 19. He was an avid hunter, trout fisherman, bowman and member of Tyler Arboretum.

He is survived by his loving wife Sara E. (Disciascio) Senkow; son, Hunter Senkow; parents, Walter and Bonnie Senkow; grandmother, Mimi Smith. He is also survived by his cousin Josh who was like a brother and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: Thursday 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn.

Funeral Mass: Friday 10:30 am at St. John Fisher Church.
