Delco's First Marijuana Dispensary Opening In May: Report

MORTON, PA — The first medical marijuana dispensary in Delaware County is set to open in early May, according to a news report.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports Herbology will open May 6 at 409 Baltimore Pike in Morton.

Herbology offers patients in Pennsylvania's medical marijuana program medical marijuana flower, tinctures, topicals, concentrates, and as vaporizers.

The business is cash only due to the federal law on marijuana, according to the outlet.

Herbology has three locations in Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Altoona, and Gettysburg, as well as locations in Maryland and several planned to open in Ohio.

There are 21 qualifying conditions that allow patients to join the state's medical marijuana program.
