The Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium have held various testing sites throughout the region, including one in Chester last month.
The Yeadon testing site comes after the Foundation for Delaware County awarded a $20,000 grant to support two testing events in black Delco communities. The funding will also help the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium distribute emergency hygiene kits to the community, and provide important fact-based public health information such as how to properly use PPE.
Chapel of Good Shepherd is located at 654 Church Lane in Yeadon.
