Free Flu Shot Clinics Coming To Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Free flu shot clinics will be held in Springfield this month as part of a larger initiative to help Delaware County residents get vaccinated.

Free flu shots will be available to all county residents 18 years old and up. Essential workers will be given priority, however.

Clinics will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9 and Monday, Nov. 16 at 1001 Baltimore Pike in Springfield. The site will be located in the back of shopping center.

Shots will be administered in a drive-thru format.

Those getting shots must wear a face mask or covering and bring identification. Short sleeve shirts are requested for ease of access to the injection site.

Resident who have a history of adverse reaction to vaccines should come with a driver.

Anyone who experiences any reaction to the flu vaccine should contact their primary care physician.

In the event of inclement weather, the clinic may be canceled.
