Get Free Rita's Water Ice, DQ Ice Cream Tuesday In Delco

There's one way to make the prospect of a first-day-of-spring snowstorm a little less painful: Free dessert.

To celebrate the first day of spring, Rita's will be giving away free water ice from noon to 9 p.m. at all of its locations.

Rita's has quite a few locations in Delaware County. They are:

• 958 County Line Road, Bryn Mawr
• 500 West Chester Pike, Havertown
• 55 W Eagle Road, Havertown
• 2105 Sproul Road, Broomall
• 5060 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill
• 220 S. Providence Road, Media
• Barclay Square Shopping Center, 1550 Garrett Road, Upper Darby
• 445 Macdade Boulevard, Collingdale
• 1550 Macdade Boulevard, Folsom
• 1435 Chester Pike, Eddystone
• 4420 Edgemont Avenue, Brookhaven
• 5004 Pennell Road, Aston

If water ice isn't your thing, how about an ice cream cone? Dairy Queen will give away free ice cream cones at all non-mall locations of both Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants.

While the small vanilla soft serve cones will be free, customers participating in the fourth annual Free Cone Day will be asked to donate money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. More than $300,000 was raised last year on Free Cone Day.
