Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Use Resumes In Delaware County

See which vaccination sits in the county are once again using the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine after a brief pause.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County has resumed administering the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine after a brief pause due to concerns over blot clotting issues in six women who were given the vaccine.

The county Friday said two sites will be using the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after federal and State experts reviewed data and information regarding the vaccine and have determined it is safe to use.

Saturday, May 1, 9am-6pm

Delaware County Community College, 901 Media Line Road, Media

  • 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday
  • 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday

Ridley High School, 901 Morton Avenue, Folsom

  • 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday

Appointments can be scheduled online here or by calling the Delaware County COVID-19 Call Center at 484-276-2100.

Walk-in and drive-up vaccinations are available at those two sites, as well as at all county-operated, sponsored, and partnered vaccination sites. However, appointments are still recommended
