Why are you seeking elective office?

Mine has been a lifetime of community service and real world business experience. My intention is to serve all residents of the County and apply a fiscally sound approach and innovative thinking.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Currently Delaware County Council is controlled unanimously by one party. One of the core principles of the constitution is checks and balances. I intend to provide the voice for the thousands of Delaware County residents who currently are not represented.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Fiscal responsibility, business minded approach, understands the importance of communication with residents

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Transparency on issues such recent real estate reassessment and spending

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Delaware County is a diverse community of 49 municipalities whose needs are varied. Being communicative, transparent and willing to listen is profoundly important and what I intend to do.
Communicate what went wrong with real estate reassessment, explain why your tax bills increased and offer remedies to fix it.
Work closely with training and educational institutions such as Delaware County Community College to provide residents affordable, quality skills in the trades, advanced manufacturing and healthcare related occupations.
Provide innovative thinking to attract new businesses to Delaware County and assist existing ones to grow.
Develop resources for existing and aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have started several successful, award winning small businesses that currently employ over 50 Delco residents.
Springfield School District has become one of the highest performers not only in the Delaware County but in the Commonwealth.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Treat everyone with respect, be honest with your intentions and the rest will take care of itself.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I have been a resident of Springfield for 25 years but was born in S.W. Section of Philadelphia where I spent the first half of my life.
