PA High School Athletic Ranks: Springfield High School

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Niche.com’s rankings for best high schools for athletes are out, and the results are good for Springfield High School.
The school was ranked the 59th best high school for athletes in Pennsylvania.
Nearby Marple Newtown High School was ranked 21st while Haverford HS was ranked 61st.

Other local schools that were ranked well include Lower Merion High School which took the top honors as the best school for athletes in PA, Coatesville (4th), Harriton (5th) Spring-Ford (6th), Conestoga (7th), and Radnor (9th).

The ranking takes five factors into account, including a parent/student survey on school sports, the number of sports offered, the participation of girls, and, separately, the participation of boys, and expenses per student. Data is collected from Niche.com users, the National Center for Education Statistics, and the Civil Rights Data Collection service.
The number one ranked school in the nation was Illinois’ Adlai E. Stevenson High School.
