A pizza joint in Delaware County is hosting a fundraiser event where half of your bill will be donated to the late sergeant's family.

A pizza joint is gearing up to host a fundraiser for the family of the late Delaware County police sergeant who died suddenly in March.

MOD Pizza in Newtown Square is looking to aid the children and wife of the late Newtown Police Sgt. Clinton Cunningham who tragically died while off duty in March.

On Tuesday, April 24, you can dine at MOD in Newtown Square and have 50 percent of your bill donated to the family fund.

MOD Pizza is located at 3741 West Chester Pike, Suite 100 in Newtown Square.

Cunningham died from a brain hemorrhage he suffered while off duty on March 19.

He collapsed while working out at a local gym Monday and was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital where he later died from the hemorrhage.

Cunningham was laid to rest March 24 at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.

He was a five-year member of the Newtown Township force and previously served with the Philadelphia Police Department for nearly 10 years.

Cunningham was recently voted by his colleagues as Newtown Township's 2018 Walt Wolff Award recipient for Officer of the Year.
