Pope Francis Receives Blessings From St. Francis Assisi
St. Francis Assisi in Springfield shows their support for Pope Francis.
The world watched last Wednesday as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the former Archbishop of Buenos Aires, was elected as the new leader of the Catholic Church. The cardinal, who is now known as Pope Francis, is the first non-European pope as well as the first Jesuit pope.
St. Francis Assisi shared their well wishes to new pope with a new sign.
