SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between June 1 and June 6.

June 1 at 11:22 a.m.
Officers investigated a crash which occurred in the parking lot of the Best Buy store, 600 block of Baltimore Pike. They learned that a vehicle had struck another vehicle in the lot. The driver, a 48-year-old female from Havertown, was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and submitted to a blood test. The female was later released to family, and charges for DUI are pending.
June 1 at 12:56 p.m.
Reedman Toll Chevrolet employees reported the front window to the business was shattered. This has been an ongoing occurrence, and a suspect has been developed. Sgt. J. DiTrolio is investigating.

June 1 at 3:05 p.m.
Two catalytic converters from two different vehicles were stolen sometime over the past weekend on the lot of Springfield Mitsubishi.
June 2 at 7:15 a.m.
A victim reported he was parked at the Rolling Green Golf Course, 200 block of North State Road. When he returned to the vehicle, he found his wallet had been opened. Later he learned credit cards had been used at a department store. Sgt. J. DiTrolio is investigating.
June 3 at 11:13 p.m.
Officer Lord conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle driving without headlamps and other equipment violations on West Avenue near Cambridge Road. A quantity of marijuana was observed inside the vehicle, and the driver then attempted to start the vehicle and flee, but the vehicle, however, stalled out. The vehicle was seized pending a search warrant application. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
June 3 at 11:34 p.m.
Officers responded to the Day’s Inn, 600 block of Baltimore Pike, to assist with a male who had been struck by a baseball bat. They found a male inside a room suffering from a head injury he suffered from another male who hit him with a piece of wood. The male fled prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
June 5 at 1:41 a.m.
A 25-year-old male from West Chester was taken into custody and charged with Public Drunkenness after he attempted to enter a house on the 100 of block Powell Road without being invited by the homeowners. He was later released to family.
June 6 at 1:26 p.m.
A 41-year-old male from Philadelphia was taken into custody after Macy’s security at the mall observed him steal over $290 worth of men’s Polo merchandise. He was released, and charges for Retail Theft will be filed.
