Springfield Road Closing Weekdays For Aqua PA Work: PennDOT
The road will close daily through late August as Aqua PA crews install water mains in Springfield Township, PennDOT said.
SPRINGFIELD, PA – Springfield Road in Springfield Township will be closed weekdays to accommodate water main installation, PennDOT said.
Springfield Road will be closed between Old Marple Road and U.S. 1 (State Road) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during weekdays Monday, Aug. 13 through Friday, Aug. 31.
During the weekday closure, motorists will be directed to use Old Marple Road, Route 320 (Sproul Road) and U.S. 1 (State Road).

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone for the closure.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area.
