Storm Leaves Hundreds Without Power In Springfield

After heavy storms rolled through the region, hundreds of PECO customers are without power in Springield Township.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Due to storms that came through the Philly region, hundreds of PECO customers in Springfield Township are without power.

According to PECO's outage map, about 647 customers are without power due to numerous outages throughout Springfield as of about 3:45 p.m.

PECO has listed the cause of these outages as severe weather.

There is no word on when power is expected to be restored to the township, but PECO's map shows crews are on the way to address the issues.
