US 1 Lanes Closing In Springfield This Week

Periodic lane closures will affect U.S. 1 in Springfield during the daytime this week, according to PennDOT.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Daytime lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 1 in Springfield for guide rail repairs this week, PennDOT said.

U.S. 1 will be affected Monday, June through Friday, June 28.

The affected area is between Hoffmans Mill Road and Weymouth Road in Springfield and Chadds Ford townships.

Closures will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
