Work Affecting Baltimore Pike Traffic In Springfield This Week

From Monday through Wednesday, crews will be inspecting signs in Springfield with the work area moving each day.

SPRINGFIELD, PA – Traffic on Baltimore Pike in Springfield Township will be affected by PennDOT crews inspecting signs this week, PennDOT said.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane closures are scheduled on Baltimore Pike between Providence Road and Route 320/Sproul Road;
  • Tuesday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane closures are scheduled on Baltimore Pike between Route 352/New Middletown Road and U.S. 1 North/Media Bypass;
  • Wednesday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., lane closures are scheduled on Baltimore Pike between Route 352/New Middletown Road and U.S. 1 North/Media Bypass;
  • and Wednesday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane closures are scheduled on Baltimore Pike between Route 352/New Middletown Road and U.S. 1 South/Media Bypass.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas.
