Young Wallingford Actress Performs in "Matilda the Musical"

Charlotte W. Taylor of Swarthmore-Wallingford, PA performs in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's "Matilda the Musical" at Walnut Street Theatre

Charlotte W. Taylor performs on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical - playing now through January 6, 2019.

Based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel, Matilda is the story of the courageous little girl with an unbounded imagination who proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to—and change your destiny. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by this Broadway hit and winner of 16 Best Musical awards!

Charlotte W. Taylor is a 4th grader at the Swarthmore-Rutledge School and resident of Swarthmore-Wallingford, PA. Charlotte will perform in the ensemble and acting as an understudy for the titular role of Matilda. Charlotte built her passion for performance and theatre through her participation in the Young Peoples Theatre Workshop of Swarthmore. Alongside these amazing opportunities, Charlotte enjoys additional stage time while performing with the local Swarthmore folk-rock Band, “Out-of-Order.”
