TE Home Sales Picking Up Compared to 2012
The median price of homes sold in Easttown rose from $390,000 in January 2012 to $730,000 last month, and the number of home sales increased.

Home Sales in Tredyffrin and Easttown increased in January compared with the same month in 2012, according to a Prudential Fox and Roach HomeExpert Report.
Tredyffrin Township
Thirty-one properties were sold in Tredyffrin last month, which is an increase of about 41 percent over January 2012, when 22 were sold. In January 2011, that number was 15.

The median price of properties sold last month dropped from $331,205 to $280,000 in Tredyffrin. The average length of time that a home was the market increased from 59 days last January to 69 days this year, but that's still a marked drop from 131 days in 2011.

Eight properties were sold in Easttown last month, up from six in January 2012 and seven in January 2011.
The median price of properties that sold last month was $730,000, a significant increase from $390,000 in January 2012 and $520,000 the year before that. The average number of days that a home was the market decreased from 76 last January to 40 days this year.
