'Free' Kittens Found in Garbage Can
Foster homes are sought for three kittens, who are six-to-seven weeks old, that were found in a garbage can on Route 309.

Foster homes are being sought for three six-to-seven weeks kittens who are currently residing at The Sanctuary at Haafsville.
The kittens were recently found in a garbage can marked "free kittens."
A post on the Sanctuary's Facebook page read:
"Driving on (Route) 309, where big trucks and cars are driving fast, I see a garbage can saying 'free kittens.' I make a U-turn at a light and stop in the middle of the road, which people were not happy about. I see three six-to-seven weeks old kittens, scared to death. I put them in my car and every truck they hear, they hiss."
