The wedding package at Independent Park, recently approved by township supervisors, provides a two-day package, allowing for setup the day prior to the event.

Supervisors recently made it easier for couples to plan nuptials at the township's Independent Park facility.
A venue package, with a cost of $650, will give people a total of eight hours over a two-day period to allow for setup on the day before the wedding and the wedding day itself.
Additional hours are available for purchase at $50 per hour. The deposit remains at $200.
Supervisor Kathy Rader said the change came about, due to people needing time to set the venue up for wedding receptions the day prior to the big event.Â
