Man Stole Checks From Fogelsville Home, Police Say
Berks County man accused of stealing two personal checks from a Fogelsville home.
Upper Macungie police say a Berks County man stole two checks from a Fogeslville woman's home last year.
Matthew Strain, 20, of Topton was charged Wednesday with forgery, theft and receiving stolen property.
According to police, the checks were reported stolen from a home on the 9000 block of Haaf Road on Nov. 20.
Police determined that Strain had cashed the checks—one for $60, the other for $100—the previous two days.
Strain was arraigned Wednesday and released after posting $20,000 unsecured bail.
