Man Walks Trexler Road With Gun to Head, Police Say
Officers from five police agencies respond when man threatens suicide.

Upper Macungie police say a Breinigsville man posted pictures of himself with a gun to his head on Facebook Friday morning, bringing a number of emergency responders to his Trexler Road neighborhood.
Police say the call began at 1:37 a.m. with a report of a man walking the road with a gun to his head.Â
According to police, the caller is a friend of the man, and had seen the Facebook post. He went to check on his friend, who told him to leave him alone, and then ran away with a handgun. The friend called 911.
By the time police arrived, the man had gone into his garage in the 9300 block of Trexler Road. Officers from Upper Macungie, South Whitehall, Alburtis, Macungie and the state police set up a perimeter, and the man surrendered without incident.
The man was taken by Cetronia Ambulance to the hospital for evaluation.
