Wednesday in Upper Macungie: Bingo and Books Into Movies

• The Fogelsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will host bingo at the firehouse, located at 7850 Lime Street in Fogelsville, on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the kitchen begins serving food at 5:45 p.m. For more information, call 610-395-5479.

• The Parkland Community Library's Books Into Movies group will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday to discuss "The Life of Pi," by Yann Martel. Which did you enjoy more, the book or the movie? New members are always welcome. The library is located at 4422 Walbert Ave. in South Whitehall.

• Wednesday is 9th Grade Picture Day at Parkland High School. Smile!

• The Parkland High School boys golf team will host East Stroudsburg South and Nazareth is a tri-match, with start times of of 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

• The Parkland High School girls soccer team will host Allen High School at 5:30 p.m.
