Wednesday in Upper Macungie: Fogelsville Bingo and BookQuest

Wednesday, Sept. 18 is expected to feature sunny skies with a high in the low 70s, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Here's what you need to know Wednesday in and around Upper Macungie:

• The Fogelsville Volunteer Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary will host bingo at the firehouse, located at 7850 Lime Street in Fogelsville, starting at 6:45 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. The kitchen will serve food beginning at 5:45 p.m. For more information, call 610-395-5479.

• The Parkland Community Library's Book Quest group will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday to discuss "Turn of Mind," by Alice LaPlante. New members are always welcome. The library is located at 4422 Walbert Ave. in South Whitehall.

• The Fogelsville Elementary School Parent/Teacher Organization will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

• A Parent Forum Meeting will be held at Parkland High School Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Room C220.

• The Parkland girls field hockey team travels to Emmaus for a Lehigh Valley Conference game at 5 p.m.

• The Parkland girls volleyball team hosts Southern Lehigh in a 7 p.m. match at the high school gym.

• The Upper Macungie Planning Commission will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the township building, located at 8330 Schantz Road in Breinigsville.
