120 Bags of Heroin Recovered in Foiled Drug Deal, Police Say
Police in Hatboro and Upper Moreland worked together to nab alleged drug dealer.

A Philadelphia man was found with 120 bags of heroin, seven bags of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana during a foiled drug exchange in Hatboro on Wednesday, the Montgomery County District Attorney said.
Terrance Malik Anderson, 29, of the 2700 block of W. Master Street, Philadelphia, was charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substances and possession of marijuana.
"Hatboro Police received information indicating that Anderson was engaged in the illegal distribution of narcotics in the Hatboro area," Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said in a statement released Thursday.

Hatboro Police and Upper Moreland Police, assigned to the Montgomery County Drug Task Force, set up surveillance on Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of S. York Road in Hatboro, Ferman said.
During the surveillance, police observed Anderson approach a female in a parking lot and the two appeared to engage in a hand-to-hand drug transaction, according to the release.

"Police moved in, and Anderson was subsequently found to be in possession of 120 bags of heroin, seven bags of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana," Ferman said.
Anderson was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Juanita Price of Glenside and bail was set at $250,000 cash. The defendant was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Paul N. Leo of Hatboro.
