Carson Simpson Farm has served the Upper Moreland community for 100 years this April. The landscape of Hatboro and Willow Grove looked much different in 1919. There were sprawling farms, open land and the journey from the city of Philadelphia took much longer. For over 100 years Carson Simpson Farm has been a destination where children can come and enjoy open space, outdoor recreation and connect with God in his creation. Currently Carson Simpson Farm Christian Camp has a bustling day camp for 3 year old through completed 6th grade children, a Jr/Sr High Leadership Program, Summer classes and an overnight program for low income children from Philadelphia called PEACE Ministries. The camp offers a morning snack, hot lunch and a trained and caring staff. The 1790 farmhouse still stands as well as the dormitory and dining hall built in the 1920's. Most of the pavilions were constructed in the 1930's. Many facelifts have occurred over the years, but Carson Simpson Farm maintains it's history not only by it's facilities, but by the traditional camp program that it offers. Carson Simpson Farm Christian Camp is proud and thankful to be ministering in the Upper Moreland community and considers it a privilege to welcome all children each summer.
