Sherk and his doubles partner, Justin Krewson, qualified for Team USA after their showing at the Viessmann World Cup in Lake Placid in December.

"I’m speechless,” Sherk said immediately after qualifying, per Team USA. “It’s been such a stressful first half (of the season) and to know that we’re finally going to be able to make it to the Games will be amazing."
