Golden Bear Basketball Camp Now Taking Registration
The 22nd-annual basketball camp will blend coaching and teaching for students in grades 2 – 9.
Upper Moreland Boys Basketball Program is now taking registration for its 22nd-annual Golden Bear Basketball Day Camp.
The coed camp will take place at Upper Moreland High School, located at 3000 Terwood Road in Willow Grove, and is designed for students entering grades 2 – 9. The camp will run from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day, and its dates are split up by grades:
- June 24 – June 28 for Grades 6 – 9
- July 8 – July 12 for Grades 2 -5
Brian Corrado, head coach of the 2013 District one AAA Champion Upper Moreland High School Boys basketball team, said in the camp’s brochure that campers will not only develop their basketball skills and athletic ability, but also, “be given the opportunity to build upon their own personal attitudes toward the game and life.”

Campers will also get to participate in a “Championship Friday” event, where all campers get to play in a championship game and attend an awards presentation.
The deadline to register for the Golden Bear Basketball Day camp is June 3. The cost of registration is $105.
