Mandarin Garden To Shut Down In Willow Grove
The popular Chinese eatery in Willow Grove will shut down for good this weekend.

WILLOW GROVE, PA — Mandarin Garden in Willow Grove will shut down for good this coming weekend, the restaurant announced.
New construction is coming to the area of the restaurant, located at York and Davisville roads, and the building will be demolished.
The restaurant's last official day will be Feb. 18. It has been open since 1985.

A sign posted on the front of the building let guests know that they were on their way out:
"The staff and management of Mandarin Garden Restaurant would like to thank all of our wonderful patrons, who over the years, remained loyal, recommended us to their friends, and filled our seats week after week and year after year. In our minds you are always more than customers, we have always considered you dear friends and respected family. Thank you. We will miss you too."

The letter was signed from Michael Wei, Dennis Lau, Mu-yang Shen, and the Mandarin Garden staff.
The popular eatery won numerous awards over the years, and was considered by some locals to be the best Chinese option in the local area.
The owners of Mandarin Garden also own Yangming, another popular Chinese eatery.
