MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festitivies are going on near you this Independence Day.
We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening around Montgomery County and nearby so you can start planning now:
Valley Forge

A free concert will be held at Washington Memorial Chapel, beginning at 2 p.m. A carillon will play various patriotic tunes to resound across the park.
Upper Merion

The celebrations get underway at 3 p.m. at Heuser Park and will inclue a beer garden, food, activities for children, live music, and much more. Fireworks will be held at dark.
Whitemarsh Township
A parade begins at 10 a.m. at Barren Hill Fire Company, and continuing to Joshua Road. A festival will take place following the parade at Miles Park Pavilion.
Skippack Township
Skippack's annual parade begins at 11 a.m. down Route 73. Fireworks will be held at dusk at Palme Park.
