Upper Moreland Mosquito Spraying Set For Thursday Night
The spraying will target areas where samples have found mosquitoes that carry West Nile virus.
You may want to stay inside Thursday evening.
The Montgomery County Health Department will be spraying from roughly 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. to control the mosquito population in Upper Moreland Township.
The spraying will be done where testing has shown mosquitoes carry the West Nile virus, according to Montgomery County. See the maps above for the area that will be targeted.

Workers will be using Duet Dual-Action Adulticide at a rate of 0.75 fluid ounces per acre applied with a truck mounted Ultra Low Volume (ULV) sprayer.
The spraying is weather permitting and the alternate date is the following Thursday, Sept. 5.
