Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School wins 1st place!

The 5th grade class of Queen of Angels won the 2020 Citizenship Challenge hosted by the Rendell Center for Civics and Civic Education

The 5th grade class of Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School won 1st place in the 2020 Citizenship Challenge hosted by the Rendell Center for Civics and Civics Education. For the competition, the students wrote an essay, created a video and answered questions about the Electoral College. The judges for the competition were former Governor Ed Rendell, Judge Marjorie Rendell and NFL Hall of Famer, Franco Harris. Their prize for winning 1st place is a $1000 check to be used toward civics education. Thanks to teachers, Mrs. Galbreath and Mrs. Behan for their work preparing these students for success in the competition!
