Two-Phase, $10 Million Remodel Planned for UM Middle School
If approved, students could see changes as early as next year.

Put on your hard hats, kids. It could be a bumpy ride.
The Upper Moreland School District will decide in its April meeting whether or not to approve a two-phase construction project to renovate the middle school. The board will need to approve it in order to obtain secure bond funding totalling $10 million by June, according to a report in the Public Spirit.
The project will add security, electric and HVAC in Phase One, while it focuses on new security cameras, renovations to the gym, replacement of the auditorium seating and new student lockers and a $700,000 pool renovation in Phase Two, according to the report.
