Upper Moreland in Action
When crisis strikes, people are always there to help out. Upper Moreland is a shining example.

I am always amazed by the fact that when disaster strikes, common people always rush to the rescue. A few weeks ago, I saw another example of generosity in action in our community. The Willow Grove Fire Company organized a food drive for members of the Coast Guard, who were furloughed and serving without pay during the partial government shutdown. Hundreds of people poured into the fire station on Saturday morning to bring foods and gifts for the men and women in uniform who serve us honorably in the Coast Guard. This is an amazing example of our community coming together for the common good. This is the true Upper Moreland, and it's awesome.
