Upper Moreland Booster Club Looking for Pancake Breakfast Volunteers
The Upper Moreland Booster Club helps raise funds for the district's student athletes.
The Upper Moreland Booster Club’s spring Pancake Breakfast will take place May 5 at the Upper Moreland High School cafeteria, located at 3000 Terwood Road in Willow Grove.
The breakfast, which goes from 9 a.m. to noon, will feature an all-you-can-eat buffet of:
- Pancakes
- Sausages
- Homemade Omelets
- Hashbrowns
- Coffee and Juice
Lisa Driscoll, Booster Club president, spoke at the April 30 school district Special Recognitions Program, where over 40 students were honored for their achievements throughout the year. She noted that the Booster Club helps the student athletes toward those achievements by setting up fundraising events, such as the pancake breakfasts.

In a previous Patch article, Driscoll explained that the Booster Club helps support and supplement the needs of the district’s athletic programs, such as purchasing necessary equipment items, paying competition entrance fees, sponsoring the Year-End Athletic Banquet, and continuing the tradition of providing the student-athletes with commemorative jackets.
When announcing the May 5 Pancake Breakfast, Driscoll asked the school community to help with the event.
