Upper Moreland Schools Extend Remote Learning Another Week

Under the new guidance, students are expected to return to classrooms Dec. 14.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — Students in Upper Moreland will continue online learning through the week starting on Dec. 7, school officials announced on Monday.

The school said the decision was made after seeing a rise in coronavirus cases in Montgomery County and the possibility the Thanksgiving holiday will lead to further increases in case tallies.

Administrators said the school board will have a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday to discuss the state education department's mitigation efforts and the return to school/hybrid plan.
