Willow Grove Man Filmed Child Porn In His Mom's Home: Feds

WILLOW GROVE, PA — A Willow Grove man has been sentenced to prison after sexually abusing children in his mother's home, federal authorities said.

Anthony Rocco Major, 47, will spend the next 27 years behind bars, U.S. District Court Judge Joel Slomsky ruled Tuesday. He was also sentenced to 20 years of probation upon release.

Major was living in his mother's home on the 1800 block of Preston Avenue, in the Willow Grove section of Abington Township, when the assaults occurred, according to police.

Major lured the young girl, who was under the age of 10, to his upstairs bedroom with the promise of playing computer games, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Once separated from the adults in the house, Major undressed her and filmed himself sexually assaulting her, according to officials. This occurred several times.

For years after this assault, the victim "suffered in silence," and came forward after her mother caught Major molesting her younger sister in their pool in Sept. 2018, police said.

An investigation turned up numerous videos of sexual assaults, as well as more child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney.

Major was arrested on Sept. 24, 2018, and pleaded guilty to several counts of manufacturing child pornography in July 2019.
