Detectives then attempted to arrange a heroin buy from Garrett, but Garrett already knew that Golden was dead, police said. She even was able to get access to Garrett's Facebook account and deleted evidence of their interactions which involved drug purchases.

Police took Garrett into custody on Oct. 18, the DA's Office said on Tuesday. She's been charged with drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter, possession with intent to deliver, tampering with evidence, and related counts.

Bail was set at $100,000, which she did not post, and she was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 25.
