Update: Hunter Found in Upper Saucon Died of Natural Causes

John Kernick, whose body was found in a wooded area of Upper Saucon, died of natural causes, according to the Lehigh County coroner's office.

A hunter found dead Thursday in a wooded area of Upper Saucon died of natural causes, the Lehigh County coroner's office said Friday morning.

John B. Kernick, 66, of 6537 Limeport Pike was pronounced dead at 11:57 p.m. Thursday by Deputy Coroner Daniel Hall, according to a release.

Kernick had been hunting earlier in the day. His body was found in a wooded area to the rear of 4146 Kozy Korner Road, Upper Saucon.
