Girl Scouts of Southern Lehigh Help the Library Grow
Girl Scout Troops 620, 637, and 6070 of Southern Lehigh Service Unit, participated in a community service project to plant flowers at the Southern Lehigh Public Library. Jeanne Haverhill, Miss Lehigh County High School, was there to help them with the planting and to share about her B.R.A.V.E. Program (Be Respectful And Value Everyone), which is this year's platform for the Miss High School America Program. The girls created wildflower seed balls for the Upper Saucon Rail Trail. The Girl Scouts would like to thank library volunteer, Deanna Nagle, for helping with the special eco projects, and Dan Schantz Growers for donating the flowers to support the local library.
