High School Graduation Date Flexible for 2013-14 Year

In a 5-3 decision, the Southern Lehigh School Board affirmed the 2013-2014 school year. 

The one significant change to the upcoming school year will be a floating graduation date, either June 6 or June 14, depending on severity of bad weather season. 

Graduation will be announced before Feb. 28, 2014. 

The order days will be added into the schedule are as follows: 

• 6/6
• 6/9
• 6/10
• 6/11
• 6/12

If the weather is sever, the following days will also be added: 

• 12/2 (Monday after in Thanksgiving)
• 1/20 (Martin Luther Kind Jr. Day)
• 2/14 (President's Day)
• 4/17 (Start of Spring Break)
