Man Pointed Rifle at Wife, 8-Year-Old Daughter, Police Say

Justin Shenk, 27, of Lower Milford is charged with harassment and simple assault after police say he pointed a semi-automatic rifle at wife and 8-year-old daughter.

A Lower Milford man is in Lehigh County Prison after he allegedly pulled a semi-automatic rifle on his wife and 8-year-old daughter. 

According to the Express-Times, Justin Shenk, 27, ordered his wife to leave their home in Lower Milford. According to the police report, Shenk's wife said at some point he got his AR-15 rifle and pointed it her and their daughter. 

Shenk's wife claimed bruising on her arms were sustained when Shenk pushed her down stairs for not moving quickly enough, according to the Morning Call.

According to reports, Shenk's wife was able at some point to remove the gun from the house and throw it into the yard. 

Shenk is charged with three counts of simple assault and one count of harassment.

According to court records, Shenk is in Lehigh County Prison. His preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 19.
