New Pa. Teacher Rankings Released: Southern Lehigh Is 85th

Where do Pennsylvania’s best teachers work?

A new list compiled by Niche.com, an information service provider, tells us.

According to Niche.com, the 2016 Districts with the Best Teachers ranking provides a "comprehensive assessment of the teachers of a school district."

Several factors were taken into account when compiling the ranking, including academic performance of a school, an index of teacher salaries, student-teacher ratio, as well as student and parent reviews, the website said.

Data was obtained from U.S. Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics and Civil Rights Data Collection. Self-reported surveys were also collected by Niche.com.
