Southern Lehigh and Quakertown Baseball Teams Hold Games to Raise Funds for Miracle League

Southern Lehigh High School Varsity and JV Baseball teams were proud to raise $7,000 during their Miracle League Fundraiser Games on Saturday, May 6th at the nostalgic Limeport Stadium, the Lehigh Valley’s Field of Dreams in Limeport, PA!
Pictured here, the check presentation was made by Bob Hoyer, president of the Southern Lehigh Baseball Booster Club to Kate Miller, executive director of the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley. Senior players Tim Walter (left) and Michael Miller (right) represented the team.
The Miracle League event is a fantastic fun-filled day where both Southern Lehigh Varsity and JV teams play Quakertown! Players from each team also engaged in a special game with the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley, which organizes baseball games for children with special needs.
