Simply, I have seen ”nothing " on the detailed technical statistical analyses of what these tests" really mean " statistically.
There are many complex statistical procedures that are required. In science we must do it or your research will not be published.
Otherwise they are just numbers.
If you are not into statistics, check it out and you may be very surprised !
The very popular and successful books by Malcolm Gladwell gets into this in many ways. He shows that in many areas we are doing the " opposite " of what we should be doing because of the lack of such complex statistical analyses.
One simple aspect is the + or - range of a number to be " statistically different " from another number.
